Our Story
Since beginning in 1970 as Community Day Care Center of Lawrence, a preschool with enrollment of 20 children, our organization has evolved to meet the needs of the community, growing to an agency that manages education programs serving infants through adults:
- Community Day Learning, education and care programs dedicated to the healthy development of infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age children
- Community Day Schools, nationally recognized public schools
- Community Partners Initiative, training and professional development programs for educators
- Resources that facilitate access to early education and care for families
Today, Community Day Learning programs share services and practices with Community Day Schools, bringing highly successful teaching practices to children and families of Greater Lawrence.
