Training and Professional Development

TCG Training and Workforce Development provides coaching, support, and professional development to early childcare educators and administrators working in family child care, center-based, or afterschool programs. Community Training offers a comprehensive training program that is designed to meet the needs of early childhood professionals serving infants through school-age children in both center-based and family child care homes throughout eastern Massachusetts.

Training is organized around prototypes of care including infant-toddler, preschool, school-age, special needs, program administration, and parenting issues to assist in the understanding and development of quality programs for children and families.

Services are provided in multiple languages: English, Spanish, and Mandarin.

Community Training Group has been offering early childhood content-based college courses in Spanish since 1989. These courses offer the opportunity for early childhood professionals to satisfy EEC requirements while obtaining college credits toward their degree through the Community Partnership grant in partnership with Urban College of Boston.
