Since 1969

The Community Group is a private, non-profit agency based in Lawrence, Massachusetts. With the commitment and support of an outstanding board of directors comprised of parents, educators, legal, and financial professionals and the entrepreneurship of its executive director and committed staff, the agency has grown and expanded over the years from its early start as a small preschool day care program.

The Community Group manages and provides support functions to a range of quality programs of education including:
  • COMMUNITY TRAINING GROUP: Training and professional development
  • COMMUNITY DAY CHARTER PUBLIC SCHOOL: Grades K-8
  • COMMUNITY DAY CARE: Child care programs for early education and school age
  • COMMUNITY PARTNERS INITIATIVE: Educational consulting
  • Child Care Resource and Referral: Data management and tuition subsidies
